Welcome, I’m glad you found my website!
Need to translate a complex legal document and looking for a professional who understands all the nuances to deliver an optimal product? Don’t want to take risks, because you know that the legal field is highly specialized and that mistakes are costly? Looking to entrust your document to someone with a legal background, but also with a translation degree?
You’re in the right place!
My name is Agustina González Grucci. I am an ATA Certified Translator and Attorney at Law.
I have worked as a legal translator for more than 15 years. I am familiar with translating virtually all types of legal documents, from general terms and conditions, to contracts, judgments, arbitration awards, wills, due diligence documents, notarial deeds, and much more.
In addition to holding Master's degrees in both Law and Translation, I am a certified English into Spanish translator through the American Translators Association (ATA).
As stated on the ATA website: “ATA certification is one of the industry's most respected credentials for translators and is the only widely recognized measure of competence for translation in the U.S.”.
Thanks to this qualification, I am entitled to use the ATA-Certified Translator Seal, developed for the exclusive use of ATA-certified translators and verifiable online.
Last but not least, I strongly believe in life-long learning and devote some 50 hours a year to honing my skills as a translator and proofreader, helping me to become a better professional every day. In recent years I have completed courses on legal translation, translation tools, IT for translators, proofreading and spell-checking, translation techniques, subtitling and plain language, among others.
As a member of two of the world's leading translators' associations (the American Translators Association and the German Translators' Association [Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer, BDÜ]), I abide by their strict ethical standards and professional codes of conduct.
