I’ve had the pleasure of seeing some of my translations published in print. One of them was a huge project encompassing over 30,000 words within a book with 100+ pages. This involved the translation from German into Spanish of the Political Parties Act of the Federal Republic of Germany and the statutes of the German political party CDU (Christian Democratic Union of Germany [German: Christlich Demokratische Union Deutschlands]).

My translation from German into Spanish of the essay “Participación ciudadana en el nivel federal” [Citizen participation at the federal level] by Tobias Montag was also published. The digital version is available here. 

For almost a decade, I’ve had the honor of translating “The Lafayette Connection”, a monthly newsletter for the charming city of Lafayette in Colorado, U.S. These newsletters are available online here.

Through this and many other projects, I’ve had the privilege of working with Rosabelle, owner of a prominent translation company in Lafayette, on a variety of initiatives over many years. Her kind words about our collaboration are a testament to the successful synergy we’ve cultivated over time:

For almost five years, I took on the challenge of translating contributions from prominent scientists and academics for the Development and Disarmament Roundtable series in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. In addition to translating the authors’ biographies, I delved into complex and highly technical subjects.

Lucien Crowder, the Bulletin’s senior editor, explains in his own words:

I am senior editor at the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, a publication devoted to issues such as nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation, nuclear energy, and climate change.
